It is midwinter here and the rain is pouring down the windows. In the first part of the winter I have prepared my painting stuff for plein air painting.
After a few years of looking and asking around what and wich stuff would suit me best,
I finally found the things I need.
I have bought the Sienna palette box, the Sienna wet panel box and the Leder Easel.
I made some adjustments on my gear so I don’t have to carry too heavy anymore.
Of course we have several tripods and I choose the one which fits best for the Sienna palette box.
This year I’m going to expand my skills with watermixable oil paint. I use Cobra van Talens. I have them used before but now it’s time to explore and experiment with them.
The first painting with them this year was not bad at all.

Because the light in the studio is not optimal I love to paint outdoors. So, if sun and temperature are showing up I will be the first to paint outside!
Until next time: Don’t worry, be happy!
